Summary

In Chapter VI, Shouts & Echoes, Kira continued to disobey the orders of the UMC and Doctor Carr. They sent in loader bots to restain her, but she refused to accept defeat and curled up in an impenetrable ball. Doctor Carr continued with his tests, and Kira could feel and hear everything that was happening to her. Eventually, the tests stopped, and Kira is left alone with her thoughts and the xeno creature inside of her. Kira decided that she was going to run some tests of her own, and she quickly realized that the creature reacted to her emotional responses.

Kira was woken up by a loud boom that jolted the Extenuating Circumstances. Suddenly, she heard gunfire and realized they were being invaded. But then Kira felt an "aching summons" directing her to someplace outside the ship and...
