Summary
The chapter in Michael’s journal, titled “June 1990, France,” continues: Michael’s reserved nights at the mas come to an end. However, once he arrives at the nearby bus stop, he walks back to the mas and convinces the owner, Monsieur Crillon, to hire him as a maid.
