Chapter 13

Kate sneaks out using the CHRONOS device and meets Trey at midnight. Trey surprises her with breakfast at his house since he knows it is her birthday. Kate is nervous because she isn’t ready to meet his family. Thankfully for her the breakfast goes well and Trey’s father takes a liking to Kate. He knows they’re going to the Cyrist temple because Kate is worried about Charlayne. He tells them he doesn’t trust the Cyrists and has noticed a lot of irregularities with their finances. He promises to send Kate the information, assuming that Connor and Katherine would find it interesting. Trey and Kate head to the church. Kate is surprised to see the whole block has been converted around the Cyrist temple, much larger than the simple church from her timeline. Kate and Trey manage to pass...
