Summary
Chapter 9
Kate wakes up and has breakfast, having a conversation with a very gruff Connor. Afterwards, Katherine explains that he’s so gruff because he lost his family to the temporal shifts. Katherine explains more about Saul to Kate. He used to study religious movements because he was interested in creating his own religion. During the temporal shifts he did just that and called them the Cyrists. Kate has heard of them before, but they were a small religion. Katherine reveals that after the latest shift the Cyrists have nearly doubled in size. Thanks to his knowledge from the future, Saul was able to advise his followers so they were also a wealthy group with expansive political ties. In this new timeline, the president is a Cyrist.
