Summary

In the present, a women’s discussion group meets at Lina’s doctor’s office. A group of eight women meet because “lately they all feel different inside their bodies” (137). Lina tells the group how she waited for three months for her husband, Ed, to touch her. She grows frustrated because “it’s hard to tell other people that it is all your husband’s fault” (140).
