Chapters 13-14 Summary

Stephanie returns to Mo's neighborhood and speaks to her old teacher. Stephanie also stops by the homes of several of Mo's other neighbors, but finds them all hostile and unhappy with her attempts to take down such a saintly man. Later, Stephanie picks up her truck from the mechanic and then decides to stop by Morelli's on the spur of the moment. Morelli offers Stephanie some liquor to help her warm up. Stephanie has several glasses and finds herself feeling very relaxed. Before she knows it, Stephanie and Morelli are making out on the kitchen floor. Suddenly they hear a crash outside the window. When Morelli gets up to see what caused the noise, Stephanie becomes ill and passes out.
