Point of View

The Thread Collectors is told from the third person point of view. Throughout the novel, the stories of different characters are told and brought to the forefront, but the third person is always maintained. The four main characters through whom the story is told are Stella, Lily, William, and Jacob, and for the majority of the novel, the characters are not together.

The reader is given insight into the thoughts and feelings of the characters through the narrator. Each of the characters has a vastly different point of view because of their station in life.
