Summary

Chapter 5: Lonely

Kellan helps Kiera pass the time alone, teaching her guitar and even taking her shopping when it's necessary. Denny calls two or three times a day, and Kiera finds herself living for each call. With Denny’s encouragement, Kiera joins Kellan at Razors where the band is playing, and she actually has fun in the small and intimate venue. She begins to spend more time with Jenny, shopping for things to spruce up the house, even finding a poster for Kellan’s room. He laughs when he sees their decorating project, and invites Kiera to join him at Pete’s for a bite to eat. The rest of the band shows up later and joins them and Kiera watches how they interact with fans. The only one who seems to be just watching like Kiera is Matt. Afterward, he takes her...
