Summary

In Chapter 43, Alessa challenges the people to be better, and that she forgives the Marked for their mistakes. Many people volunteer to join a militia or offer their homes to those without, and Alessa realizes what Dea wants from her.

Alessa returns to her room in Chapter 44, where Kamaria and Saida comfort her. Kaleb and Josef arrive as, even though Nina did not tell Inni the truth, Josef wants to fight with Alesso. She says that the rules and traditions were human creations and not the will of Dea. So, Alessa believes she can empower multiple Fontes at once and says it is time for them to undo centuries of human rules and errors.

Chapter 45 begins one week before Divorando as Alesso prepares to visit Dante. Kaleb goes with her and they joke about how fun being the Savior is. Alessa nearly breaks...
