Summary

In Chapter 33, Alessa convinces the Fontes that Dante is helping her. They accept this, but do not believe they fell into such a compromising position. Then, they surprise Alessa by inviting her and Dante to card games. Saida brings dessert and they enjoy friendly conversation. However, Kamaria gently warns Alessa that others may question why Dante is not hurt by her touch,

That night, Alessa curls up with Dante again, but forces herself to stay as still as possible. This fails when a sleeping Dante gropes her, and he snaps awake, mortified. Alesha blames herself, as she had not been sleeping and begs him not to leave as both promise to be more careful.

Chapter 34 continues at training the next day, though things are awkward between Dante and Alessa. Yet, with a heat wave making things difficult, Dante leads them to a secret...
