Summary

In Chapter 57, Alice wakes up as a sixteen-year-old. Leonard wishes her a happy birthday. Alice struggles not to cry. She has a plan.

Alice and Leonard get lunch at a diner in Chapter 58. She brings a tape recorder and interviews him. Alice asks Leonard questions about his cousins and about what Serena was like when she was young. In Chapter 59, Alice, Leonard, and Sam get hot dogs and ice cream. Alice usually switches what flavors she gets, since these sorts of choices do not impact her future.

Alice has her party in Chapter 60. She decides to take drugs, like the first time, and to let Tommy sleep with Lizzie. Alice compliments Kenji’s hair as he walks in. When Alice leaves to buy cigarettes, he joins her.
