Summary
In Chapter 24, Bri receives an email from Professor Kent. She gives some examples of stories that were considered myths until proof of their existence was unearthed. She notes, “These people, these stories, are grounded in truths that have been exaggerated and distorted over time.” She talks about Medea who was described as a witch but was more like a priestess devoted to the goddess Hecate. There are problems with the timeline, but Hecate and Medea are often mentioned together. Professor Kent believes Medea's true story has been changed over time. Though some believe she killed her children, Professor Kent does not.
