Part III, Chapter 13 Summary

Lara is in Andy's trunk. She's dressed in a scientist coat and is equipped with a name badge and card to open doors to get out of the compound. Her story is that she is Dr. Lara Adams visiting from the Pentagon — because scientists from the Pentagon have been visiting lately.

Once she gets into the compound, she goes straight to the general's house. He isn't home. She goes down to the cell where they're keeping Joel. She sees the monitor on Joel but not on the vampire in the adjacent cell.

Sita compels the guards and makes them collapse. She enters the cell where Joel is. As the door slams shut behind her, Joel yells out no to her. it's too late though. Now Sita is trapped with Joel. Andy comes on the monitor to talk to...
