Part III, Chapter 4 Summary
Sita talks about when she was living in the 13th century. She met a priest of the Catholic church that was also an alchemist. They fall in love with each other, even though the priest and alchemist, Arturo Evola, is not allowed to be with women. One day, Sita saves the life of a little boy that fell off a roof and crushed his spine. Arturo sees what she did, so she tells him what she is. Arturo suggests that they make hybrid humans—half vampire, half human—using her blood. He says he even has the power to turn her back into a human so that she can have another child.
