Part III, Chapter 3 Summary

With her new appearance, Sita arrives outside of scientist Andrew Kane's home the next evening. She follows him to the compound to see what the check-in process is to get through security. She sees it is relatively easy. Sita returns to the home and breaks in the back door. She can tell a lot by the scientist with the smells in the air. When she steps into his spare bedroom, which is Andy's home office, she sees two DNA models. One is the standard human DNA structure. The other is the DNA structure of a vampire.

Since the military cops don't check Andy's car or trunk for him to get past security on the compound, it foreshadows Sita hiding in the trunk of Andy's car in order to access the building where they are holding...
