Part III, Chapter 1 Summary

When Eddie arrives with Joel, both of Joel's arms are broken. Eddie and Sita have a standoff, each holding someone as a hostage. Eddie is holding Joel as a hostage and Sita is holding Mrs. Fender as her hostage. Each vampire opens up the neck veins of their hostage to allow them to bleed to death. When Eddie convinces Sita to hand his mother over to him, he breaks his mother's neck, killing her.

Eddie attacks Sita and starts pulling her blood out with a needle, syringe and tourniquet he pulls out of his pocket. As he starts to drink Sita's blood, she starts to think about the standoff between Krishna and Yaksha. This is when she realizes what Krishna meant and she starts to whistle the melody of the song Krishna was playing to invoke fear in Yaksha...
