Part II, Chapter 9 Summary

Vampire dogs are walking the perimeter of the warehouse, so Sita uses her guns to kill the dogs. She noticed that Eddie and about 21 other vampires went into the building before dawn with two human couples to feed. Ray and Sita were able to get two gasoline trucks by staging an accident and stealing the two trucks from the drivers when they stopped.

Ray drives his tanker to one side of the building and Sita to the other. She uses her super-hearing to listen for Ray to light his fuse, but when she doesn't, she lets the gasoline flow downhill out of her truck and goes to see what's wrong. Eddie has Ray hostage and she realizes Eddie set a trap for them. Even though Eddie is using Ray as a shield, Sita shoots through Ray to injure Eddie...
