Part II, Chapter 4 Summary
On the drive to the police station, Joel tells Alisa about his life and how he became a FBI agent. He says he'll have to notify the local FBI office that he's in town or the police won't open their files to him. Alisa hands him her cell phone.
Alisa listens to the conversation Joel is having with the police while she waits in the car. They did find a body from the explosion and it's in the Seaside morgue. When they get there, though, the body is missing. The medical examiner says they think an employee, Eddie Fender, that went missing the same day as the corpse, stole the body. While Joel looks at the employee records of Eddie Fender, Alisa goes to talk to the secretary.
