Chapter 6 Summary

Alisa arrives at the pier, the meeting place, before Slim arrives. She is armed with guns and a knife. With her acute sense of hearing, she hears a limo pull up about a mile way. She hears the setting of a rifle in the distance too. A few minutes later, a white limo pulls up to the pier. An armed man and an armed woman step out. Alisa and Slim greet each other, and Alisa realizes that he doesn't know she is a vampire. She also realizes that Slim reports to someone else. Slim tells Alisa if she comes with him that she can meet his boss.
