Summary

In Chapter 21, Naomi sees Sloane and the other librarians at a table towards the end of her shift at the Honky Tonk. They are celebrating because the library just got a huge grant that Sloane did not even remember applying for. This means that Sloane can offer Naomi a part time job. Lucy asks Naomi to dance. She agrees. Lucy explains to Naomi that Naomi has the power to come between Nash and Knox, and he hopes that she does not. Naomi tells Lucy that Knox is incredibly rude to her, but Lucy says that this is perhaps because she makes him feel things that he does not want to feel. Sloane comes over and is shocked to see the two dancing together. Naomi realizes she has hurt her friend in some way. Knox comes over and asks Lucy to stop dancing...
