Summary

Chapter 48 is told from Lina’s perspective. Her hands are zip tied behind her back, and she is stuck in the trunk of a car without her phone or the tracking device. She stays convinced that the men will come to find her. The car pulls up to a building, and she realizes that Duncan has been close all along. The man lets Lina out of the car, and she takes off, but she is not able to get away because of her cuffed hands and a broken heel.
