Chapters 19 and 20 Summary
Bobby wakes up the next morning with a new idea—that if the electric blanket is faulty that there may be records of the people who returned the blankets or of a recall. Bobby goes to the parlor, where his father has the blanket and all his notes, and Bobby writes down the model number and the manufacturer of the electric blanket.
Bobby contacts Sears, which is the seller and the customer service representative says that they are exchanging this blanket with a comparable electric blanket for free, and that they are encouraging people with pacemakers not to use the blanket at all. Bobby tries to find out how many people have returned the blanket or if there are any records of the names of people who returned the blanket, but the customer service representative doesn't have this information.
