Summary

In Chapter 14, Stella goes to school and is disquieted to see that Mila is not in class or at practice. She goes on her Instagram and sees that Mila has not posted anything since the race where she won. Stella looks through her feed and sees a strange comment from an anonymous user asking Mila to come home, but when Stella refreshes the page the comment has been deleted. Mila still does not come to school or answer any of Stella’s texts on Tuesday. Mila’s mom comes to talk to Coach because Mila has been missing since she left for her morning run on Monday and Detective Parker is not taking her seriously.
