Importance: In a play on the Star Trek tagline "To boldly go where no one has gone before," George highlights his grandparents' courage in immigrating to America and starting a new life there. It is in part because of their courage that George was able to make a successful career for himself in Hollywood, and he sees the challenges and accomplishments of immigrants as a fundamental aspect of the American dream.
