Summary

Kathleen receives a message from Juliette in Chapter 32 and realizes she wants to kill Zhang Gutai. Rosalind finds the note and says that Juliette only cares about the madness to impress her parents. She says that the Cai’s are invulnerable but she and Kathleen are not. Kathleen asks if Rosalind will help. She says no and Kathleen leaves.

In Chapter 33, Juliette waits outside the Labor Daily with a victim of the madness. Kathleen arrives and Juliette shows that she is working with Roma, Marshall, and Benedikt. She leaves a few back to stop Zhang Gutai’s escape and goes inside with Roma. She kills Zhang Gutai but learns from Kathleen that the madness has not stopped. Juliette collapses, horrified that she killed Zhang Gutai and begins to cry. Roma says that she would not cry if she was a monster and...
