Summary
Loother and Lony get bored in the stands. Lony is suddenly interested in the powwow, citing “something about the drum” and the sound of the singing “in real life” (263). The brothers dodge through the dancers but soon hear screaming.
Daniel sits in his basement waiting until the last moment to fly the drone. He does not want to waste battery. He wants to see Octavio succeed, but mostly he does not want the guns to be used.
