Summary
Chapter 15 is titled “Operation Sunset.” Still living with her brother Lile and his family, the author starts to reshape her life, and makes lists of things she has to do, things as basic as showering, eating something, and brushing her teeth. “It’s time to begin” (169), she says in her narration. For the first few days, she struggles to fit in with the routines and ways of the family, but bit by bit becomes more comfortable and more active. She also makes a list of things she wants to re-discover and learn how to enjoy the way she did when she was a girl, before the pain and when her father was alive.
