Summary

After leaving Hanna’s flat, Laurel calls Paul to make plans for her and Hanna’s birthdays, which are both taking place on the following Wednesday. Paul is ecstatic by the idea, and this leads to a conversation in which both admit to having missed each other. Paul assures Laurel that he will always be a part of her life.

Hanna is annoyed by Laurel’s proposed birthday dinner. However, she ultimately agrees to it. Hanna refuses to admit that the reason that she is busy on their actual birthday is because her boyfriend is taking her out.

The following day, Laurel offers to cook dinner for Floyd. She has not cooked for anybody but herself in a long time and this undertaking overwhelms her. The meal comes together without a hitch, but as she is waiting for Floyd to arrive, he sends...
