Summary
Maya – In a journal entry for Casey, Maya writes that September 11 is not only Casey’s birthday, but also the date of the terrorist attacks. Maya is horrified that such a thing could happen on Casey’s birthday, but Maya now feels patriotic and worried. Jason assures her everything will be alright. Maya apologizes that Casey’s birthday will be forever linked to such a horrible event. She also worries that Jason will be especially on edge with all that has occurred.
Ariel – Syrah gives her mother’s bed to Ariel and Monica for the night. There, they have sex for an hour until they fall asleep with each other.
