Toby

Toby, short for Tobiatha, is one of the two narrators of the novel.

Prior to current time in the novel, Toby was a God’s Gardener, known as Eve Six and in charge of potions and lotions. The previous Eve Six, Pilar, taught Toby a great deal and became her mentor.

In the current time of the novel, Toby works at AnooYoo Spa-in-the-Park. She came to the spa after she was forced to flee the Edencliff rooftop garden because of an attack by her ex, Blanco. The Gardener bought her a new identity which including changing everything about her appearance except her eye color. They then set her up with the spa job as a safe place to hide in plain sight.

After the Waterless Flood Toby becomes isolated at AnooYoo until she saves Ren from the Painballers. Once she saves Ren, the women unite to find resources...
