Summary

In Chapter 33, Frankie hears Henry’s voice and the touch of his hand. She later wakes up thinking she is having a heart attack. She walks out of her room and a counselor named Jill takes her to go see Henry, the drug and alcohol treatment center’s director. She will be at the center for at least eight weeks. He tells her about the pills she has been taking and shows her a Rolling Stones article that tells how doctors have been prescribing them for women for quite awhile.

Henry shows Frankie a picture of his fiance. He cannot be Frankie’s therapist because he used to love her, but he talks to her to help her get acclimated. He asks her about her moods and tells her that they are starting to see other veterans come in with similar...
