Summary
In Chapter 10, without thinking Lo ran to the balcony and looked over the railing. She thought she saw what looked like a hand under the water. When the looked over the privacy screen between the two rooms she saw a smear of what looked like blood on the safety glass of the veranda next door. She also realized that whoever might have thrown the body over would have heard and seen her run to the balcony.
After making sure her doors were locked, Lo called for security. She explained to Johann Nilsson, the ship’s head security officer, what she had heard and seen. Outside, Nilsson could not see any blood. When Lo looked she assumed someone had cleaned the glass. Nilsson took her next door to Cabin 10. To Lo’s surprise, it was empty.
