Summary
In Chapter 24, when Thursday’s mother stops by with soup, Thursday shares with her reader her opinion that people are more understanding of people who are physically ill while they blame those who are mentally ill. When Thursday has been home for five days, Seth gives her her phone back. She notices that Hannah’s number, as well as all the text messages from her, have been deleted. Seth claims not to have deleted them.
On the sixth night, Thursday crushes up a sleeping pill and puts it in Seth’s bowl of soup. When she is sure that he is asleep, she looks through his contacts on his phone, both Hannah and Regina’s contact information had been deleted. Thursday packs some things and leaves.
