Summary

Skadi went to her home in the mountains, then returned with all of her belongings so she and Angrboda could ride out the winter together in Ironwood. Angrboda continued practicing her magic until she could stand inside her hearth and not burn. She and Skadi became lovers and Skadi admitted she had always loved Angrboda. Angrboda begged Skadi to stay with her during Ragnarok so she could protect her, but Skadi said she wanted to join the other giants and fight the gods. She said the other giants were furious with the gods and their behavior and the giants were planning to rally behind Loki. Skadi wanted to die fighting with them in order to avenge her father.
