Summary

The wolves take Alex, Conner, and Goldilocks to the Evil Queen's hidden castle in Chapter 20. They are tied to chairs in the great hall where Red Riding Hood is already tied up, in front of the Evil Queen. She asks the wolves if anyone had escaped and Malumclaw tells her that a frog and a horse got away. The Evil Queen replies that they do not have much time to create the Wishing Spell and the Huntsman gets all of the items out of Alex's bag. The Evil Queen tells Malumclaw and the wolves to wait outside, but Malumclaw refuses. He obeys her when she tells him that he and his wolves can eat the children, Red Riding Hood, and Goldilocks once she is finished. Conner demands to know why she wants their things.
