Summary

In Chapter 9, Clementine met with Steve to tell him that she thought that they should skip the separation and go straight to a divorce. Steve argued that he planned to pay her back and indicated that she was not giving him a chance. Steve was acting like a victim, but she knew it would not take him long to go on the offensive. He proved she was right when he argued Clementine had given him no choice but to betray him.

As Clementine was paying for their meal, Dominic happened to see her. He was with a woman, but did not introduce the two of them. She remembered how they had been attracted to each other when they first met. She told Dominic that she and Steve were separating. She was going to start selling units for The Point.
