Tails

Tails, a shortened nickname from Tailcoat, is a wealthy, influential man in Beartown. He has dedicated himself and his money to making Beartown Hockey the best. He has also participated in fraudulent business practices in doing so. For instance, Tails has Peter sign the documents regarding the sale and purchase of a piece of ground on which a training facility was supposed to be built but never was.

Tails is frightened when he learns that the newspaper editor is reviewing the hockey club’s financials and that she intends to write a series of articles about the fraud. He shares with Kira what has happened and asks her to try to find a way to legally get them out of trouble.

Since Kira fears she cannot legally clean up the mess, Kira suggests that Tails research other methods to keep Peter out of trouble. Tails contacts both Theo...
