Disguise
Disguise plays a pivotal role in The Winner. Many of the characters are portrayed in disguise. The most obvious example is Jackson who is always in disguise. He utilizes masks, wigs, prosthetics and cosmetics to create his various disguises. Beyond the physical characteristics he creates for each of his persona, he fully acts out the part as well. He can change his voice and manipulate his own emotions to the extent of crying on cue. Jackson believes he is a master of disguise and incapable of being caught. His many disguises are really just a front for his insecurity. When dressed as Jackson, he feels power over those he accompanies. In truth, he is unable to address conflict in himself and uses the disguise as a crutch.
