Part Two: Chapters 36-39 Summary
After their poor beginning, LuAnn was compelled to set things right with Matt. She invited him over for lunch and shared her idea for an additional building on the property - one which she wanted to hire him to build. Lisa met Matt in passing and expressed her fondness for his company. Lisa was enjoying her new home and their new shared friends. Her happiness dissolved when LuAnn shared with her the possibility that they might need to move again. The mystery man driving the Honda had spooked LuAnn, and she feared for their safety. Unfortunately, Lisa had never learned the truth about their identities, or where their fortune originated, so she couldn't understand her mother's concerns.
