Chapter 7 Summary

Refreshments are served on the terrace and Sandy notices that Tris takes a little longer to get there. Ambros manages to persuade Sandry to visit her inherited lands without further delay and she agrees to leave in the morning. She tells the Empress, suggesting even she will agree that Sandry should tend her holdings without delay. The Empress does, adding they should return as soon as possible. In fact, she decides, she'll send some people with Sandry to guard and entertain her, volunteering Jak, Fin, Rizu and Caidlene.
