Summary
“Part Two: Bea” is not divided into chapters. Instead, the narrative is divided between italicized and regular font. In the regular font, Bea writes in her journal, which is really a novel that she is writing over, starting on “July, One Day After Blanche.” In the diary, Bea writes that Eddie killed her best friend Blanche Ingraham when the two women were at the lake having a girl’s weekend.
