Summary

In Chapter 24, Vanessa had ignored her Chi Omega little sister’s complaint that she hated when she could not see when she had to be blindfolded as part of the initiation ritual. Vanessa had insisted on Maggie being one of the pledges when she found out that Maggie had started a volunteer program to help shelter animals. As Maggie’s big sister, it was Vanessa’s job to keep watch over her the night of initiation, especially during the night swim. Because she thought that she had probably gotten pregnant by Daniel at the beach Vanessa decided that she could not go there. Instead, she asked Leslie to watch out for Maggie and said she was going back to the house because she was sick.
