Summary

Elizabeth returns to confinement and reveals to the audience that Cecily was never able to have a child. Lady Katherine comes into confinement with her and sews clothes for Elizabeth's baby. Through Katherine, Elizabeth learns that many people visit Perkin and he is still called Richard by most of the general public. Elizabeth has a child named Edmund, who Lady Margaret named after a martyred king. After confinement, Elizabeth goes to the priest John who she knows will tell anything she says to Lady Margaret. She confesses that her mother and her placed a curse on the man who killed Richard and Edward. She believes that, if Henry orders Perkin’s execution (who she believes is Prince Richard) that they will lose all of their male children to the curse. The priest tells her to pray...
