Summary

As Chapter 16 opens, Michael, the podcast host, says that Wendy has had to change her address multiple times because of death threats, and she now lives out of the country with a different name. She explains that she was at prom because she was supposed to go to the after party with Kenny. Michael explains that people saw her at a gas pump outside of Greenville, and she said she was giving a friend a ride.

On May 30, Kenny ends up in front of Maddy’s house. Inside Maddy worries about her dad who is not eating much. She still cares about him. Suddenly she senses that Kenny is outside.
