Point of View

The author uses first person narration throughout the entire novel. Rarely does the author use a different narration technique, excluding the epilogue, which is written from an omniscient third person narration. The author chooses to write in first person for several reasons, the first of which is that the readers are able to fully understand the character's motivations if the narration is coming from their point of view.
