Roshar

Roshar is the landmass that encompasses all of the different kingdoms that are mentioned throughout the novel. It is mentioned several times when the characters talk about the entire continent as a whole.

The Shattered Plains

This is a section of land that is in the southeastern section of Roshar and it is aptly named. The land is comprised of hundreds of plateaus, each requiring the use of a bridge to get across. This is one of the main settings of the novel as several of the first person narrators are currently battling on the Plains.
