Summary
The Epilogue, "Of Most Worth" and "Endnote," introduces the reader to Wit's first person narration as he talks to three guards outside the gates of Kholinar. The guards ask him what he is doing and Wit replies that he is waiting. Wit asks them what they think the most valued talent and they say music. Wit replies that he does not know what is the most valuable talent and he goes on a tangent about how men and women create the same things independent of each other but the only one who gets the recognition is the one who shows it first. Thus, Wit believes the greatest talent mankind can have is nothing more than novelty. His tangent confuses the guards but Wit tells them that the storm has come.
