Summary

Chapter 52 returns to Adolin's first person narration for the first few pages as he rejects his father's decision to abdicate the throne and name him as highprince soon. It had been a week since Dalinar had first told Adolin and he had not changed his mind. Dalinar informs Adolin that he will return to Kholinar after abdicating in order to help the queen bring more stability to the land. Adolin disagrees but the conversation is halted by preparations that needed to be completed before the oncoming highstorm. The narration moves to Dalinar's first person as he wakes up in another vision in a place called Feverstone Keep.
