Chapters 13-16 Summary
In Chapter Thirteen, Abraham the Mage is in his tall and slender glass tower. Abraham tells the redheaded warrior Prometheus that Danu Talis could be gone. Abraham will be gone soon as well; the Change had already begun to take place in him. This happens to all Great Elders; in his case he is slowly turning into a beautiful gold statue. He would still be alive, but unable to speak or move. Prometheus has come to tell Abraham that the strangers have appeared as Abraham said they would and have been taken away in the vimanas. Abraham says they are lost to him now and they are all doomed. The world now will end.
