Summary
It was hard for Tiffany and Olaf to see each other in Berlin without Olaf’s wife learning about their affair. He finally arranged a dinner date with Reverend Gernot, a radical priest, in Saxony-Anhalt. During the dinner Tiffany wondered where she fit into the relationship. She believed she was only a distraction for Stephen and that he was fonder of Birke. As she heard Olaf and the priest talk seriously she wondered if she had been brought for contrast. Tiffany prompted a discussion about birds. When Olaf stepped away to answer the phone, the priest invited Tiffany to take a walk in the forest with him. Tiffany turned him down.
